It WAS Peter Nero !!! I cant believe I blanked out like this ! I'm online looking for his songbook my jazz piano teacher had me get when I was 17 ! Along with Oscar Peterson's books ! I was classically trained and the book combined jazz classics like this with classical pieces ! Another one I played was Body and Soul which mixes in Clair de lune ! I've put my piano aside for too long in life and now want to go back to it entirely... you've helped me reconnect with these memories ! And now I can find the book again ! Thank you !
